You can refer us a personal injury case by calling, emailing, or filling out the form below. You can also provide the potential client with our contact information and have them contact us directly. Referrals are more likely to occur when you make sure the potential client connects with us. It is helpful if you follow up with the client to make sure that they contacted us if they told you they would do so.
Once a referral is received our law firm will evaluate the claim. We will respond to you, the referring attorney, within 48 hours to let you know whether or not we will take the case.
If we decide to take on the case, we will quote a fair referral fee. We will take into account all the work that may have been done on the case prior to the referral.
In general, the attorney who assumes primary responsibility for a contingency fee case receives 75% of the total fee and the attorney assuming secondary responsibility receives 25% of the total fee. However, additional fee arrangements are possible with court approval.
After referring our law firm a personal injury case, you still have responsibility for the matter. This is why it is important that you refer cases to a law firm that is competent and attentive. On each case, you can be heavily involved or more passively involved, or somewhere in between. We will work together with you to determine what involvement is best suited for you and your client.
Our law firm will not take a personal injury case that we cannot fund. As the referring attorney, you will not be asked to fund all or part of the case.
We leverage technology to make things easier when referring a personal injury case. This includes providing you guest access to our online client portal, utilizing electronic signatures for documents, and video conferencing.
We pay our referral fees. Once a case has resolved, we will contact you as soon as possible in order to verify any information needed and expedite getting payment of your share of the attorneys’ fees.
